A lot of you have already walked hundreds of kilometres and raised thousands of rupees for the needy with Impact app. Now is the time to recognize and reward your efforts.

 

Just like an army personnel receives badges of honour for his service to the country, we think all of us change-makers also deserve some credit for our sweat and steps. After all, we are also doing our best to serve our society and the country at large. They are fighting for peace, we are walking for peace. They protect our society, we are protecting the future of our society. They inspire us, we inspire the whole community of change-makers.

The latest Impact App update awards you with badges for supporting a cause-category with your walks. So, when you walk for 10 km and raise Rs 100 for providing meals to kids, you win a Hunger Hero Badge and earn 1 star.

If you walk for 10 km for our environment, you win the Environment Hero badge (1 star).

Covering 50 km for the same category upgrades your badge to a SuperHerobadge and you get 1 more star.

You get all the 3 stars and earn a Legend badge when you cover 250 km for a category.

Once you have earned 3 stars for Environment, you are also bestowed with a Title of an ‘Environment Activist’. All the categories have different titles and you earn your first title when you collect 3 stars in that category.

How it works

• You will find all the badges for ongoing cause-categories in the ‘In Progress’ section of your Profile in the app as shown below
• When you choose to walk for a cause, the app will track your progress and show the distance left to achieve your first badge. In the image below, I need to cover 3.81 km more for the ‘Building Blocks of Hygiene’ cause to get 1 star of the ‘Sanitation Hero’ badge
• Once the 10 km is covered, the badge moves from here to the Achievement section of your profile
• You can choose to earn multiple stars in as many categories you wish to support
• You can also view all your past contributions in the Charity Overview section of the app
• Inside the categories like Sanitation, Hunger, Healthcare etc., you will see all the causes you have walked for so far
• Any stars that you win will show up in this section and you will earn titles based on stars

• Now, you can keep a track of your contributions to different cause-categories and win Badges and Titles for your daily effort. Awesome, isn’t it?

  But, wait! There’s more awesomeness.

  Remember, how you can choose your daily goal of distance on Impact? Now you can also maintain a Streak by achieving your goal every day. We have people telling us that they take walks even at 12 in the night so that they don’t break their streak. 40 of them already have a 40-day streak. How cool?!

  And to top it up, you can also win badges for maintaining a 7-day, 15-day, 30-day and 60-day streaks.
